Marketing & Information Systems Consultant

Turn information into an advantage.

Optimal helps organisations connect marketing, information, technology and strategy to build systems that create measurable, repeatable and sustained growth.

The problem

We don't believe growth comes from doing more things. It comes from building better systems.

Optimal works with organisations to identify opportunities, design systems, implement solutions and continually improve the way information and marketing contribute to growth.

Most organisations already hold enormous amounts of customer, market and operational knowledge. The problem is rarely a lack of information. It is a lack of structure, connection and implementation.

Positioning

Marketing + Information + Technology + Strategy

We don't just optimise marketing. We optimise the system behind growth — the way information moves, decisions get made and opportunities are turned into operating reality.

Capabilities

What we help organisations build

01

Strategy

Turn complexity into direction.

We help organisations understand where they are, where opportunity exists and what needs to change to move forward.

  • Business and marketing strategy
  • Growth strategy
  • Market positioning
  • Opportunity identification
  • Customer strategy
  • Digital strategy
  • Strategic planning
  • Commercial problem solving
02

Information Systems

Turn information into intelligence.

Information becomes valuable when an organisation can use it to make better decisions and take better action.

  • Information architecture
  • Data-driven marketing systems
  • Lead intelligence
  • Market intelligence
  • Customer information systems
  • Business intelligence concepts
  • Decision-support systems
  • Information workflows
03

Marketing Systems

Build marketing that compounds.

Move from isolated campaigns to marketing infrastructure that improves over time.

  • Lead-generation systems
  • Customer acquisition systems
  • Content systems
  • Digital marketing strategy
  • CRM activation
  • Customer journeys
  • Marketing automation
  • Campaign architecture
  • Conversion systems
04

Digital Products & Experiences

Turn strategy into something people can use.

Sometimes the best strategy is something you can actually put in someone's hands.

  • Digital experiences
  • Web platforms
  • Customer tools
  • Lead-generation products
  • Interactive calculators
  • Recommendation engines
  • Digital workflows
  • Prototypes
  • MVP development
05

Systems Implementation

Ideas only matter when they become operational.

Optimal works beyond the strategy document — helping organisations implement what has been designed.

  • System design
  • Implementation planning
  • Technology integration
  • Workflow development
  • Process redesign
  • AI-enabled workflows
  • Automation
  • Team implementation
  • Measurement frameworks
06

Growth & Optimisation

Continually improve the system.

The objective isn't to build something once. It is to make the organisation progressively better at growth.

  • Performance analysis
  • Conversion optimisation
  • Marketing optimisation
  • Process optimisation
  • Growth experimentation
  • Reporting
  • Strategic reviews
  • System refinement

The Optimal system

Discover → Connect → Design → Implement → Measure → Optimise

01

Discover

Understand the organisation. What exists? What is happening? Where is the opportunity?

02

Connect

Bring together information, people, technology and market intelligence.

03

Design

Create the strategy, system or experience required.

04

Implement

Build it. Integrate it. Launch it. Train the organisation around it.

05

Measure

Understand what actually happened.

06

Optimise

Improve. Redirect. Scale. Repeat.

The goal isn't a project. The goal is a system that keeps improving.

Flagship case study — Agent Matching System

What if the best agent isn't the agent who sold the most?

Optimal developed a prototype information system designed to identify which real estate agent is best positioned to sell a particular property — right now.

Rather than creating another generic "top agents" list, the system creates a property-specific recommendation.

Property similarity

Comparable sales

Price-band expertise

Current listings

Under-offer activity

Days-on-market performance

Workload

Buyer-reengagement potential

Agent performance

The real product isn't the recommendation. It is the information system behind the recommendation.

Every recommendation starts with one specific property — its type, price band, condition, land size and street-level context.

Output

A property fingerprint the rest of the system can match against.

Experience across industries

Different industries. The same problem.

Organisations rarely need more activity. They need better connections between what they know, what they do and what they want to achieve.

Challenge
Families, carers, recovery circles and trusted communities needed to stay connected and coordinate everyday support without turning care into surveillance. Existing tools either over-shared raw personal data — location, presence, messaging — or forced people into protocol-level decisions they should never have to make.
Opportunity
Separate the warm, human family experience from the consent, permissions and identity coordination happening underneath — so people feel connected to the right people at the right time, with the right level of privacy, never as if they are entering a protocol.
System
The Respectful Synchronisation Protocol (RSP) — an invisible coordination layer beneath Love Key Link, Love Key Hub and the Love Key Help Network. It synchronises consent, permissions, identity context, roles, presence and support signals, and keeps a person's represented self — including avatars, likeness and AI stand-ins — tied to the person it belongs to. Consent is a living, revocable state; minimisation is on by default; and identifiable source data is translated into low-resolution signals before it is ever shared.
Implementation
A five-stage pipeline: observe behaviour (raw events from people, agents or systems), weight the signal (events become low-resolution weighted signals), synchronise the state (aggregate to a node state such as resonant or friction), expire and decouple (source links decay once no longer necessary), and burn the source (identifiable data is irreversibly destroyed). On top of RSP, a human-first LoveKey entry point — one profile, create or join a hub, invite trusted people, share gentle presence and route support to a trusted contact — with categorical location (Home, Work, In Transit, never raw GPS), delayed validation, and ambient node health shown through calm colour rather than numbers. A cryptographic Event Token records that reciprocity happened, with the source burned before the token ever exists.
Impact
Families, carers and recovery circles can answer "are my people okay?" through gentle presence states and soft hub-health colour rather than leaderboards or raw surveillance — with privacy by default and visibility only by consent. The behaviour-to-signal-to-burn model means reassurance is delivered without exposing the identifiable source behind it.

The consulting proposition

You don't always need another agency.

Sometimes you need someone to step back and understand how the pieces fit together.

Marketing.Information.Technology.People.Process.Customers.Growth.

Optimal works across those boundaries to identify what is preventing the organisation from operating at its full potential — then helps design and implement the system that changes it.

Organisations in transition

Businesses changing direction, entering a new market, restructuring their proposition or preparing for their next stage.

Organisations with untapped information

Businesses sitting on valuable customer, market or operational information that isn't being fully utilised.

Organisations ready to build

Businesses that have identified an opportunity but need someone who can move from strategy into implementation.

Strategy without implementation is just documentation.

Optimal sits between the boardroom and the build.

  • 01

    Identify the problem.

  • 02

    Design the strategy.

  • 03

    Build the system.

  • 04

    Implement the change.

  • 05

    Measure the result.

  • 06

Redirect when the evidence says we should.

About

I build systems that make organisations better at growth.

My work sits at the intersection of marketing, information, technology and business strategy.

Across organisations including RSP, Optimal Loans and other engagements, I have increasingly found that the greatest opportunities aren't always found in another campaign. They are found in the systems underneath the campaign.

  • How information moves.
  • How customers are identified.
  • How opportunities are prioritised.
  • How teams make decisions.
  • How technology removes friction.
  • How marketing becomes repeatable.

That is the work I want to do more of.

I don't just advise organisations on what they should do. I help them build it.
